What You'll Learn

This module will provide an overview of seven principles of plasticity that are highly relevant to customization of effective treatment plans for your dysphagia patient. It will highlight evidence drawn from both basic science and human clinical research studies that have helped improve our understanding on the various mechanistic principles of plasticity in diseased states commonly encountered by clinicians a well as specific applications to dysphagia rehabilitation so that the participant can exploit key principles of plasticity in their clinical practice.
